I am what I eat.
Invitation to a birthday dinner -celebrating the anniversary of the diverse Greek identity.
What I consume becomes part of my substance, my tissue, my skeleton, my being. If I eat sweets I gain fat, cholesterol, tooth decay, if I eat meat I gain muscle...what if I eat my enemies? I become what I devour, am I therefore a cannibal?
- Cake involved.
“I am what I eat” was a live birthday-cake-cutting performance during which four cakes shaped like Athenian monuments were cut, merged into a whipped-cream-‘frankenstein’-cake and then eaten festively.
